Call for proposals: Funding for joint German-Polish projects 2026/2027

The German-Polish Science Foundation (DPWS) supports scientific projects in German-Polish partnerships at universities and non-university research institutions. Funding is provided for research projects, scientific events, new structures in research and teaching and the expansion of academic networks.

The projects must be carried out in cooperation with a Polish partner institution. The focus is on German-Polish topics and references in the fields of Humanities, Cultural Studies, Law, Social Sciences and Business Administration and Economics.

There are currently two funding lines with the following deadlines:

• Simplified call for academic events and smaller research projects (max. €10,000) until 30.04.2026
• Main call for research projects (max. €150,000) in the areas of cultural and knowledge transfer, Europeanization processes, change in norms and values, multilingualism until November 2026
