The Innovation Challenges offer students the opportunity to work on real issues of local companies or public institutions. They develop solutions together in international and interdisciplinary teams.
Gothenburg is widely recognized for its long-term work in sustainability. The city has received international awards for its commitment to environmental and social sustainability, including repeated top rankings in global sustainability indices for cities and destinations. Gothenburg is also part of the EU initiative for climate-neutral and smart cities with the aim of achieving climate neutrality by 2030. These ambitions make Gothenburg a relevant and inspiring context for this year's Innovation Challenge.
The students will work on case-based challenges on sustainable mobility, urban and neighborhood development, social sustainability and sustainable meetings and events. Through interdisciplinary collaboration, participants will develop innovative ideas that contribute to more inclusive, resilient and sustainable cities.
