DAAD Call for Proposals: Future Network "Weimar Triangle". Science for Europe - Postdoctoral researchers
The "Weimar Triangle" was founded in 1991 by Germany, France and Poland to strengthen European cooperation.
The program "Future Network Weimar Triangle: Science for Europe", funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space, connects early-career researchers from all three countries and thus strengthens European integration and the European Research Area.
Together, they promote trilateral research through exchange and cooperation and develop solutions in the following areas:
- Technologies for climate-neutral energy generation and mobility as well as climate protection
- Artificial intelligence and digitalization as well as microelectronics
- Security in Europe and resilience of the science system
- Biotechnology and medicine of the future
- Challenges, effects and benefits of new technologies on and for society
Applications for scholarships for research stays at universities or non-university research institutions in Poland and France are open to above-average qualified scientists from all disciplines who are conducting research in Germany on one of the future topics listed above and can imagine taking over the technical coordination of one of the five working groups of the scholarship program.
The funding period is 7 months to a maximum of 24 months. An extension is not possible. The earliest start of funding is October 2026 and the application deadline is 15.06.2026.
Further information on the funding framework, application requirements and application procedure can be found on the DAAD website.
