Ianina Scheuch is a well-connected early-career researcher who works on the topic of resilience. After spending many years in other cities and countries, she is happy and grateful to have found her home with her family in Dresden and at TU Dresden in particular. Here, she supports the global community of TUD regional ambassadors and makes a committed effort toward the internationalization of the university. Just as she was getting ready to submit her dissertation, war broke out.  Ever since, the native Ukrainian has been motivated by compassion for her compatriots, whom she has been working to support literally day and night, calling on all the contacts in her address book. In this interview, she speaks about her career history, the current situation in Ukraine and her commitment to young academics from there.
