As part of the European Capital of Culture 2025, events are not only taking place in Chemnitz, but also in 38 partner municipalities and in the entire region around the districts of Ústí nad Labem (Aussig) and Karlovy Vary (Karlsbad). To mark the occasion, the Czech-German Future Fund (DTZF) is supporting cross-border project ideas that strengthen neighborly exchange in the following areas:

✔️ Cultural revitalization of architectural monuments
✔️ Exchanges for children, young people, adults and senior citizens
✔️ Discussion forums and encounters
✔️ Crafts, industry, artisanal and industrial heritage
✔️ Shared history and traditions
✔️ Creative industries as an intersection of science, design and technology
✔️ Environmental care
✔️ Strengthening civil society
... and much more

A total of 250,000 euros is available for the call for proposals to implement projects for joint workshops, events or encounters.
