The Joint Programming Initiatives (JPI) Oceans and Climate have opened a joint call for proposals titled 'Next Generation Climate Science in Europe for Oceans'. The deadline for submitting proposals is on 14 June 2019.

Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE has published its last call for proposals on March 04, 2019. The new call for proposals will be an experiment and should bring together Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE stakeholders with other project stakeholders (such as from Horizon 2020, LIFE, ...) as well as newcomers.

Indeed, oceans play a key role in the climate system and are also affected by climate change. Uncertainties of climate-ocean interactions and its buffered actions for heat and CO2 absorption call for more progress on observations and modelling.
