On 10 September 2018, the ERC („European Research Council“) opened the ERC Starting and Synergy Grants 2019 call.

From 22 - 28 October 2018, the Open Access Week will take place under the motto "Designing Just Foundations for Open Knowledge". In this context, the SLUB gives you the opportunity to get to know open access services.

The European Commission has opened the 2019 Call for Proposals for "Innovative Training Networks" (ITNs) under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie actions. The next call deadline is 15 January 2019.

On 25 July, the European Commission has published an update of the Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2018-2020. Most parts of the Work Programme have been amended by minor details within existing topics, shifts of budget as well as some new topics and other actions (e.g. prizes, financial instruments).

Funding of research and development in the thematic areas of bioeconomy and Infectious Disease

The Saxon State Ministry of Science and the Arts (SMWK) opened its new call for proposals (EuProNet) in order to fund networking activities in Horizon 2020 ("initial funding") for the funding months August to December 2018.

The project outline (pre-proposal) deadline (mandatory) will end on 11 September 2018 14:00 CEST.
