The Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) published a new call for proposals under the Creative Europe Programme "Support for refugee integration” (EACEA 12/2016). The deadline for submitting proposals is 28 April 2016.

The ERA-NET Consortium “European Research Area for Climate Services” (ERA4CS) has published a new large Joint Transnational Call on Researching and Advancing Climate Services Development on 1 March 2016. The aim is to boost the development of efficient Climate Services in Europe. The deadline for first-stage proposals is 15 June 2016.

The second ESF co-financed call for proposals within the Federal Ministry of Education and Research's funding programme “Digital Media in Vocational Training” is published. The project outlines have to be submitted until April 15, 2016 after consultation with the European Project Center.

As part of the national strategy for the European Research Area (ERA), Germany is expanding its collaboration with the EU13 member states. The application period is extended until 8 April 2016 (extended).

The European Commission is still looking for independent experts for evaluation of proposals for EU funding and for other activities such as monitoring, programme evaluation and policy development.

The Joint Secretariat has published the dates as well as documents for the second call. According to their information, it will be possible to hand in applications from 05 April to 13 May 2016.

The current open Call for Proposals is to invite applications for actions in the field of targeted lobbying that aims on the proactive placing of topics resp. interests of future TUD activities at European level.

The Water Joint Programming Initiative (Water JPI) and the Agriculture Food Security and Climate Change Joint Programming Initiative (FACCE JPI) published, on 15 January 2016, a pre-announcement of the upcoming 2016 joint call for transnational collaborative research projects. The topic of the call is 'Sustainable management of water resources in agriculture, forestry and freshwater aquaculture sectors'.

European and non-European organizations have launched a third joint call for proposals through the Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance (JPIAMR). The pre-proposal submission deadline is on March 21, 2016.
