Fit for the World with the SprInt Program

Language and intercultural competence qualification program free of charge for science support and scientific staff at TUD Dresden University of Technology.

Since fall 2021, SprInt has also opened its offers to scientific staff and, with funding from the nationwide ‚excellence strategy‘, is providing all TUD employees including student and research assistants with free training opportunities.

The SprInt Program is a central measure of the TUD's Internationalization Strategy with it’s main focus on Internationalization@Home. With SprInt, you will find a wide range of language learning opportunities and qualification in intercultural competences that you can implement effectively in your everyday professional life. As proof of your personal effort in lifelong-education, you can obtain a SprInt certificate in three versions. We tailor our offerings to the current personnel development plan, which creates structures and processes for the conscious and lasting promotion and development of all employee groups.

How did you find your trainer?

“Ms. Sonek always ensured a relaxed and positive atmosphere in her course. My ‘problem’ is that I get shy when it comes to speaking English. Ms. Sonek gave me the courage I needed to keep trying. “I use the language skills I acquired in the course regularly in my work. In IT, you are constantly confronted with English. I think it’s great that TU Dresden offers courses like these for its staff. And English in particular is indispensable for my daily work in IT.” (English course, 2020 summer semester)
