Collection Historical Computer Technology
One part of the Historical Computer Technology Collection consists of functional computer technology from the 1980s. These devices enable old data to be read and converted onto modern data carriers. This has proven to be useful on several occasions, since many programs for Z80 and Z8 are still important in the control sector today. The second part of the collection is arranged as a didactic-historical exhibition in the Andreas Pfitzmann Building. This exhibition has been enriched by many private loans, in particular the collection of Dr. Klett, containing mechanical calculation technology from the pre-computer era.
