Facility Information: Re-opening

Dear Users,

We hereby inform you about the partial re-opening of the CFCI as of Monday, 20th April 2020, 8AM.

This will enable you to use our microscopes again for the advance of your scientific projects. 

Currently, special restrictions apply to your work in the rooms of the CFCI until further notice:

• Users have to wear personal protective equipment: face mask, fresh gloves and lab coat are mandatory in the rooms of the CFCI. We also encourage you to wear protective googles.
• The facility will be staffed from 7.30AM-12AM and 12.30AM to 5PM.
• There will be no on-site support. In case of problems, users should not enter the office, but rather call 16511/16426 or write to .
• Currently, there will be no introductions - only experienced users are allowed to work.
• Users have to disinfect the working space before AND after their experiment.
• Only one user is allowed in the room at any given time. This will be ensured by restrictions for the booking of microscopes.
• If you are sick, no matter the reason, you are not allowed to use the equipment of the CFCI or enter the rooms.

We urge you to stick to these rules since shared equipment is a high risk factor for the transmission of SARS-CoV-2.
