Latest Corona-related restrictions at CFCI
With respect to the current pandemic situation, new rules for using the microscopes of the CFCI will be effective as of September 27, 2021. In close coordination with our Dean of Research, Prof. E. Troost the rules for the time mentioned above are as follows:
- Update: From 27.09.2021, there will be NO alternating microscope blockings, thereby allowing simultaneous use of the microscopes in the rooms, throughout the day.
- Update: As such only 1 user is permitted to use a microscope, and at most 2 users in any room.
- Update: It is compulsory to wear masks when there are 2 users in the room. It is also important to wear lab coats and gloves, and to disinfect surfaces when you’re done.
- Update: It is compulsory to scan the TUD-Corona-Tracking QR codes at the entrance door to the microscopy room.
- Currently, introductions to microscope systems are possible remotely
- Users will get support through our online-support system. We will certainly assist you in using this system. In case of questions, please send an e-mail to lichtmikroskopie.mtz@tu-dresden or call -16426.
These new rules are in the interest of all users of the CFCI.
Thank you for your understanding/cooperation
and stay healthy.
