File Server
Using our data server, you can access your imaging data from any place in the world.
Our Data server is hosted at the Zentrum für Hochleistungsrechnen (ZIH, Centre for High-Speed Computing) of the TU Dresden. The CFCI has to unlock your ZIH-Login to access this server.
The connection can be established via connecting the server as network-drive (Instructions for Windows and Mac) of via FTP-access.
Limitations
For data safety and memory availability reasons some limitations apply for the usage of our server:
- Usage has to be granted by CFCI.
- Data older than 30 days will automatically be deleted.
- Data on the server is not backed up and cannot be restored.
- It is forbidden to transfer patient data via this server.
No warranty is given for your data. Data storage and backup is your sole responsibility. Main purpose of this server is the transfer of your imaging data from our microscope workstations to your data storage systems.
Please keep in mind that every valid user of the server can access all data stored on the server. We therefore recommend to not transfer confidential data via this server.
