German University Medicine Prize 2026 – open call

The announcement of the €25,000 prize can be found on the association's website (application deadline 10.07.2026). The evaluation of the team and its performance is primarily based on a max. 3-minute video

For the faculty-internal selection, please send your expression of interest to the Research & International Affairs department by 25.05.2026().

In your expression of interest, please address the following criteria specified by Deutsche Hochschulmedizin e.V:

• the performance of the team;
• the team's ability to work together across locations;
• the communication of the team's performance;
• the innovative strength of the results, which were published no more than 2 years ago;
• the social impact of the innovation, in particular with regard to
  • the relevance for patient care and/or,
  • the translation of results into application and/or
  • the prevention of diseases.
