Exciting international insights and new contacts – ICEP GLOBAL enters the next round!
The call for applications for the International Collaboration and Exchange Program (ICEP Global) has begun! You have until September 14 to apply for a place on the program.
The ICEP Global is a unique networking and exchange program for students in human medicine, dentistry, biomedicine and related departments. On the initiative of the Rector of TU Dresden, Prof. Ursula Staudinger, the Faculty of Medicine has been part of this platform for international exchange and intercultural cooperation in the healthcare sector since last year.
The program brings together over 700 students from 41 universities on five continents. As part of lectures and international group projects, they exchange ideas on global health topics – including public and global health, ethics and international healthcare systems.
Participants then have the opportunity to qualify for a one-year research stay at Columbia University or other partner universities.
What are the experiences of our participants from last year?
The testimonials from last year make it clear: Participants particularly appreciate the exciting lectures, the exchange with students from other countries and the opportunity to look beyond their own study system. In addition, the mentoring by experts was perceived as very valuable.
"The phone calls in the small groups were particularly informative and the relaxed atmosphere encouraged everyone to actively participate," reports one participant.
Another highlighted how the program helps to "sharpen the ability to critically question and gain new perspectives on healthcare systems worldwide".
Curious?
Apply now for the ICEP Global online program and actively shape your international career in healthcare!
