Election of the Dean's Office of the Faculty of Medicine 2025
The new elected Dean's Office with Esther Troost, Dean (center), Christian Hannig, Ali El-Armouche, Ilker Eyüpoglu and Steffen Heide.
The Dean of the Carl Gustav Carus Faculty of Medicine at TU Dresden, Prof. Dr. Dr. Esther G. C. Troost, was re-elected for a further three-year term of office on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Together with the members of the College of Deans, she will implement the strategic goals for the further development and strengthening of the Faculty of Medicine at TU Dresden in close cooperation with the UKD on the campus of university medicine.
The Board of Deans consists of:
- Prof. Dr. Dr. Esther G. C. Troost, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at TU Dresden
- Prof. Dr. Ilker Eyüpoglu, Vice-Dean for Finance and Deputy Dean
- Prof. Dr. Ali El-Armouche, Vice-Dean for Research
- Prof. Dr. Stefan Bornstein, additional member of the Dean's Board and Representative for International Affairs
- Prof. Dr. Steffen Heide, Dean of Studies Medicine
- Prof. Dr. Christian Hannig, Dean of Studies Dentistry

The new Faculty Board of the Faculty of Medicine at TU Dresden was elected in December 2024. It is made up of university lecturers, academic staff, administrative and technical staff, students and the Equal Opportunities Officer.
