UPCOMING EVENT - 1st IRTG3019: MEDIS retreat in Dresden

For the first time, our new IRTG students and PI´s all get together during our 1^st IRTG3019: MEDIS retreat. This event will be hosted in the Metabolic-Immunological Diseases and Therapy Technologies Saxony Dresden from May 6th-8th, 2025!

The agenda of our annual retreat is focussing on IRTG3019  students, their projects and their scientific career. The students will present their projects and receiving constructive input and valuable feedback from their Dresden and Zurich PIs and fellow PhD/MD students. The annual IRTG3019 retreats will be substantial for the progress and success of the student’s research as it creates the ideal platform to get in touch with the respective partner institutes, but also members from industry and start-ups, and to hold strategic discussions. This event will present the students' excellent research progress that benefits from the cooperation, incentivized new project ideas of the new student cohort and strengthened the scientific ties between the three partner institutes in Dresden and Zurich.

Highlights of the meeting will be our invited speaker  Prof. Gülsah Gabriel (Hamburg),  sharing her latest research data  with the audience, for sure followed by lively and enthusiastic discusssions.
