MeDDrive
Junior Medical and Clinician Scientist Funding
Do you have ideas for innovative research projects? Do you want to build on promising preliminary work? The first applicant program MeDDrive of the Medical Faculty Carl Gustav Carus of the TUD offers Junior Medical and Clinician Scientists the opportunity to deal more intensively with a self-selected scientific question for the first time and to gain experience in the independent processing of research projects. The thematically open, intramural funding program with a total funding period of 24 months includes, in addition to material and personnel resources (own position), mentoring and offers of qualification and networking. By funding promising and future-oriented projects, MeDDrive aims to improve the framework conditions for young scientists in an early career phase and to support them in developing an independent academic career.
The online application form for 2026/2027 will be available in spring 2025. All information on funding can be found on these pages and in the call for applications.
