Open position: Independent Junior Researcher at the DKTK partner site Dresden

I would like to draw your attention to the vacancy for a Junior Research Group Leader "Translational Solid Cancer Research" at the DKTK partner site Dresden – the application deadline was extended with final deadline on 13.08.2021.
The DKTK partner site Dresden aims to attract talented scientists with a strong background in translational research in solid cancer to lead a Junior Research Group.
Young scientists are explicitly invited to apply! Are you a young PostDoc or Clinician Scientist or have you just finished your PhD thesis? The position allows you to sharpen your own profile and perform outstanding research independently, but strongly connected and supported by the excellent interdisciplinary network of translational oncology at Dresden. Your research field should match with the profile of the DKTK partner site Dresden (https://dktk.dkfz.de/en/sites/dresden), which focuses on translational radiation research and (radio)immunotherapy of cancer. We are open to applicants coming from other fields of solid tumor research, with the requirement to align their reserach strategy complementary to the established research groups.
