Key CompetenciesAI in Scientific Research
Poster Key Competencies Reihe 2024
To pursue successful careers in translational research, scientific key competencies and a thriving network are as essential as methodological expertise. The Dresden School of Clinical Science (DSCS) meets this need with the seminar series "Clinical Science Key Competencies".
Since the demand for guidelines on the use of AI in scientific research remains high, we would like to join the Institute of Pharmacology and Toxicology in extending another invitation to a seminar with Oscar Freyer - Digital Health Researcher at the EKFZ.
The seminar will focus on the responsible use of artificial intelligence in scientific research. Topics will include AI models, tools and agents for different research tasks, as well as the legal, institutional and scientific frameworks governing their use. The seminar will also address the handling of sensitive research data and intellectual property, and the use of AI for literature searches and scientific writing.
There will be time for questions and discussion after the presentation.
We look forward to your participation.
This seminar is particularly aimed at early career researchers. However, we invite scientists at all career levels to get inspired by the teaser talks from local experts and to enjoy networking with peers and possible mentors. Join us at the MITS (House 92). We look forward to see you!
If the topic you are passionate about is missing and should be included in next year’s key competencies, please get in touch with us at dscs@tu-dresden.de.
