Poster Key Competencies Reihe 2024
To pursue successful careers in translational research, scientific key competencies and a thriving network are as essential as methodological expertise. The Dresden School of Clinical Science (DSCS) meets this need with the seminar series "Clinical Science Key Competencies".
Making money out of life-science discoveries
Dorit Teichmann, Innovation Manager at Dresden exists, will give insights into entrepreneurship. With experience in startups and industry and passion for innovation, she will reveal how to turn your life-science discovery into a solid business model. What to consider when starting a company with respect to Intellectual property (IP) rights, regulations or specific income models? Further, we have invited two local speakers with scientific and start-up experience, namely Moritz Middeke who is going to share his experiences and career development from clinician to entrepreneur and Nadine Schmieder-Galfe as Startup Mentor, sharing her story on becoming a start-up expert from a biomedical background.
This seminar is particularly aimed at early career researchers. However, we invite scientists at all career levels to get inspired by the teaser talks from local experts and to enjoy networking with peers and possible mentors. Join us at the MITS (House 92). We look forward to see you!
If the topic you are passionate about is missing and should be included in next year’s key competencies, please get in touch with us at dscs@tu-dresden.de.
