IRTG Project Presentations at Dies Academicus
As every year, medical students at TU Dresden were looking for potential doctoral thesis projects at the annual Dies Academicus. The IRTG was represented with two new MD projects which are embedded in the Else-Kröner-Promotionskolleg. The two new projects will focus on ‘Analysis of the cardiac lipidome after bariatric surgery’, a collaborative project by Prof. Ali El-Armouche (TUD), Dr. Silvio Weber (TUD), Dr. Ünal Coskun (TUD), and Prof. Francesco Rubino (KCL), and ‘Regulation of Nox4 by metabolic stress’, which is jointly supervised by Prof. Henning Morawietz (TUD) and Dr. Richard Siow (KCL). Both projects are to start in October 2018.
