For the second funding period, the IRTG 2251 consists of 46% female and 54% male principal investigators (PIs) from TUD and KCL. We have not changed our concept of a broad selection of investigators with an ideal balance between senior and younger experts, with each PI presenting a unique scientific profile. All investigators from both campus sites direct their own scientific groups and have extensive experience in teaching and training.
