Bachelor thesis defense in the field of PS-OCT

We are pleased to announce the successful defense of Timo Gloaguen's bachelor thesis in our Department of Medical Physics and Biomedical Engineering at TU Dresden. In his thesis entitled "Investigation of the Phase Response to Reflection from Galvanometer Scanners in Polarization-Sensitive Optical Coherence Tomography", Mr. Gloaguen systematically investigated the influences of galvanometric scanners on the polarization state of the measurement beam in a PS-OCT system. The thesis lays the foundation for future calibration procedures and contributes to increasing the measurement accuracy in clinical and research-relevant PS-OCT applications.
