DataVis Help DeskDataVis Help Desk: Colors for charts
Meeting ID: 769 898 213
Which colours are suitable for your charts? How many colours are too many? Is it allowed to change colours in confocal images? And, how do colour-blind people actually see my figures?
In this online seminar series on data visualisation we’ll discuss on November 6th, 2-3 PM the use of colours in scientific illustrations. The seminar brings together doctoral students, scientists and other interested parties who regularly make figures for manuscripts, grant applications, or reports. We will discuss which rules of good scientific practice have to be followed, which colours appeal to the audiences, and which software and online tools are available to make efficient colour choices.
