DTOS - Dresden Translational Oncology SeminarsDresden Translational Oncology Seminar (DTOS): Prof. Britta Will, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, NY
On 02.03.22 5 pm (CET) Britta Will will talk about "Novel molecular safeguards of hematopoietic stem cells". Britta Will is associate professor at the Department of Medicine (Oncology) and Cell Biology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. The biologist and her team are investigating the molecular mechanisms of stem cell aging, particularly of hematopoietic stem cells, and how they contribute to various diseases. Research topics consider the iron pool as a regulator of stem cell function, chaperone-mediated autophagy, erosion of the gene expression program by PU.1, or improvement of stem cell therapies.
Exciting topic or interested in talking to Medical scientist Britta Will about her career and research? Register via mail (peggy.jungke@uniklinikum-dresden.de) for an individual breakout after her talk!
