Welcome to the MSNZ Dresden!
The Mildred Scheel Early Career Center Dresden (MSNZ Dresden) is funded by the German Cancer Aid (Deutsche Krebshilfe). The goal of these centers is to create optimal conditions for early-career researchers in life sciences as well as medical sciences, enabling them to conduct independent research in the field of molecular oncology.
Overview of all Mildred Scheel Early Career Centers in Germany
The Mildred Scheel Early Career Center Dresden was established in 2018 and is located at the University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden / National Center for Tumor Diseases (NCT) Dresden.
In the MSNZ program "P²-Personalized Career Planning in Precision Oncology", clinician scientists are granted protected research time during their residency to promote translation from bench to bedside. The program also enables medical scientists to answer cancer relevant questions forming their own research group.
We further aim to strengthen translational cancer research by combining the clinical and scientific expertise in tandems.
