The Institute offers a 24-hour on-call service for forensic medicine and clinical toxicology issues.

The Schools of Medicine, Forensic Toxicology and Forensic Genetics / DNA have been accredited by the DAkkS since 2010. The scope of accreditation can be found in the accreditation certificates .

Information sheets and forms are available for download for the fields of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Genetics.

One example is the form for reporting a non-natural death to the criminal investigation department.

Prices for chemical-toxicological examinations of private dissections
Any necessary chemical-toxicological examinations commissioned for private dissections are remunerated as follows:

Determination of alcohol concentration: €50
Preliminary examination for narcotics: 50 €
Confirmatory analysis for narcotics: 150 €
Preliminary examination for drugs: €50
Screening and confirmatory analysis of medication: €300
