Surgical Skills Lab Dresden at the EAES Congress in Athens

The Surgical Skills Lab Dresden at University Hospital Carl Gustav Carus Dresden participated in this year’s Congress of the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES) in Athens. A total of eleven representatives from Dresden attended the event, including medical students, physicians, and research staff.
During the congress, the team presented two scientific talks and five poster contributions. In addition, the event provided opportunities for professional exchange with international colleagues and discussions about potential future research collaborations.

The EAES Congress is considered one of Europe’s leading scientific meetings in the field of minimally invasive surgery, bringing together experts from clinical practice, research, and medical education each year.

In addition to presenting their own work, the Dresden team focused particularly on networking with other institutions and research groups. The next EAES Congress will take place in Düsseldorf next year.
