Das Surgical Skills Lab ist das Trainingszentrum für minimal-invasive Chirurgie in Dresden (SSLD). Mit seiner modernen Ausstattung bietet das SSLD neben der Grundlagenausbildung im Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery praktische Trainingsmodule zur Kameraführung, realistische Übungsszenarien am VR-Laparoskopie-Trainer und natürlich den Einstieg in die Robotik an einem VR-DaVinci OP-Roboter-Trainer.

Surgical Skills Lab Dresden
The Surgical Skills Lab is the training centre for minimally invasive surgery in Dresden (SSLD). At the SSLD, students and prospective surgeons can (further) develop their skills in minimally invasive surgery in a targeted manner. In addition to basic training in the Fundamentals of Laparoscopic Surgery, the SSLD offers various practical training modules on camera guidance, realistic practice scenarios on the VR laparoscopy trainer - and an introduction to robotics with a VR DaVinci surgical robot trainer.
Regardless of whether they already have initial experience or are looking to improve their existing skills in MIS, the SSLD provides trainees with the right training for their next steps in the operating theatre.
Our own research shows that with regular, structured training your own learning curve is up to 1.5 times steeper. As a young surgeon, sticking with it is particularly worthwhile, as training time correlates with operating theatre time. More training also means better operating theatre performance, because those who practice regularly are faster and safer in the operating theatre.
