Development of molecular markers for the assignment and differentiation of breeding material
Since mobile DNA elements and repetitive, structure-determining genome regions change rapidly in evolutionary time intervals, they are ideally suited as molecular markers. Our robust marker systems have already been tested for genotype differentiation in potatoes, camellias, beets, poplars and spruces and are used in the breeding routines of several companies.
