­Adventure in the Wadden Sea - new Uni Vlog: Excursion teacher training biology

As part of their biology studies, student teachers Nele, Henriette and Denise went on an excursion to Hallig Langeneß. In their vlog, they provide exciting insights into the special features of the mudflats, the characteristic vegetation of the salt marshes and the importance of citizen science projects for biological research and education.

The biology teacher training course teaches key content from botany, zoology and human biology as well as genetics, cell and molecular biology. In addition to theoretical training, biological internships, excursions and practical studies in schools are an integral part of everyday study life - and enable students to experience biological relationships directly in nature and teach them in a practical way.

The student vlogs on the TUD Probieren YouTube channel provide an insight into the lives of students. From leisure activities in and around Dresden to the stress of studying and exams - these vlogs allow prospective students to get to know individual degree programs and the city of Dresden.
