PC Pool
The PC-Pool (BIO, room E04) is accessible to all Biology students and staff. Scheduled hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with the exception of times when the PC pool is used for classes.

Note on usage:
The PC-Pool of Biology is based on virtual machines with Windows 10. To log in, you need to enter your ZIH login and password, all employees and students of the Faculty of Biology are admitted. Guest logins are only issued by the lecturers in exceptional cases during courses in the PC pool. In case of login problems or questions regarding the installed software, please contact Dr. Gerd Bombach, , (room E05). In case of login problems you can also contact the service desk of the ZIH.
On the virtual machine, in addition to storage on own USB media, there is the possibility to store data in the own ZIH home directory (drive H:) - this can then be accessed from any PC. A Ricoh print copier (CopyCard required!) is available in the immediate vicinity in the corridor!
