Welcome, Marko Brankatschk

Marko Brankatschk is the new deputy professor for "Cell and Molecular Biology of Plants". After various positions in Vienna and Dresden, we now welcome Marko Brankatschk to the Faculty of Biology at TU Dresden. Marko's research interests include the flow of lipids through food chains, the environmental dependence of plant (and animal) lipid profiles and the bioactivity of plant lipids on the nervous system, behavior and (insulin) signaling in Drosophila. He will teach in the degree programs Organismic and Molecular Biodiversity, Biology in Society.
