Seminar (Bachelor and Teacher Training in History)/AQUA: Botanical knowledge in historical perspective
Monday, 5th DS (14:50-16:20)
This seminar provides insights into the development, transfer and practical application of plant knowledge from a historical perspective with a focus on the 18th century. We examine not only theoretical considerations and the organization of knowledge, but also how knowledge was exchanged within botanical networks. Both historical human actors and plants themselves play a role here. We also visit the Herbarium and the Botanical Garden.
