Introductory events
First semester opening week & welcome events in the Faculty of Biology
The Faculty of Biology welcomes the freshmen of the winter semester 2024/2025!
We cordially invite the first semester students of the Bachelor's degree program "Molecular Biology and Biotechnology" to the official welcome event on 08.10.2024 in the Trefftz building in the math lecture hall. From 10:00 a.m., the first semester students will be welcomed by Vice-Dean Klaus Reinhardt and the Faculty Student Council of Biology and will receive important information about starting their studies. After this event and throughout the week, our student council will hold further small introductory seminars in small groups, for which registration in a mentoring group is necessary, which can be done here on this page.
From 13:00, the new students of the Master's degree program "Biology in Society" will be welcomed by the Vice-Dean and the Faculty of Biology Faculty Student Council in the Andreas Schubert Building, Lecture Hall 28, Zellescher Weg 19, 01069 Dresden .
This will be followed by the welcome of the new first semester students of the biology teaching degree program at 2:30 p.m., also in the Andreas Schubert Building, Lecture Hall 28, Zellescher Weg 19, 01069 Dresden
