Regine was born and raised in Dresden. She was trained as laboratory technician at the drug factory in Dresden.
She studied laboratory technology in chemistry at the engineering school for chemistry in Berlin (East Berlin). She has been working at the TU Dresden since 1999. She is responsible for the preparation and implementation of chemistry lab courses in various fields of study, e.g. Human medicine and dentistry. She is also responsible for the technical equipment of the working group.
In her free time, she likes to go hiking or attend classical concerts.
