Physical Chemistry / Measurement and Sensor Technology
Welcome to the research group of Professor Ulrich Rant, dedicated to advancing the frontiers of physical chemistry with a focus on molecular-level understanding and innovation.
Our primary research areas include the development of nano-biosensors for highly sensitive biochemical detection and single-molecule techniques for precise, real-time analysis. We also explore molecular interaction analysis to accelerate drug discovery, single-cell interaction cytometry to understand cellular responses and pathways, and the study of conformational changes as they relate to structure-activity relationships. Our work aims to bridge fundamental science with practical applications in health and biotechnology.
