Nobel Laureate Serge Haroche about light and matter

Serge Haroche, Nobel Laureate in Physics, lead his audience to fundamental questions about our universe, asking how light and matter interact, in his public lecture at TU Dresden on last Wednesday. His Nobel-awarded experiments in which he captured light particles in a mirrored box, leading in single atoms and measuring their interplay, had physics as well as lays be astonished. „Juggling with atoms and photons in cavity: from fundamental tests to quantum metrology" was his lecture's title - for some play, said the Nobel Laureate in an interview, is in science as well.
