International Affairs
International collaborations, funding opportunities for the internationalization of research and teaching as well as special opportunities for international scientists make the School of Science attractive for early-career and top researchers from both Germany and abroad.
Internationalization of research and teaching
The subject cultures of mathematics and the natural sciences are international in their orientation as regards research topics, specialist language and the global dissemination of the disciplines. Accordingly, the School of Science has set itself the goal of increasing the international visibility of the School and of enhancing the attractiveness of the Departments of Biology, Chemistry & Food Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, and Psychology for international students and scientists. The School is very deeply committed to presenting Dresden as a cosmopolitan science location.
The strategic orientation of all international activities at the School of Science is determined by the Steering Committee "Internationalization of the School of Science", in close cooperation with the International Office.
The International Office at the School of Science is both the contact and service point for staff members, international guests and alumni of the School regarding all international matters, collaborations and funding opportunities for the internationalization of research and teaching as well as special opportunities for international scientists.
