DFG approves priority program "adaptive modular designs for flow production methods"
The Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG; English: German Research Foundation) has approved the priority program "adaptive modular designs for flow production methods" (SPP 2187), which will be coordinated by Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Peter Mark from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum (RUB). Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daniel Lordick is part of the program committee. The other members are: Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h.c. Albert Albers (IPEK, KIT), Prof. Dr.-Ing. Markus König (Informatik im Bauwesen, RUB) and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gisela Lanza (wbk Institut für Produktionstechnik, KIT).
In July there will be an info event about the SPP 2187 at the RUB. At the moment the invitation to tender is prepared, such that applications can be sent in until the end of October 2018.
