The research group GMV
Geometric Modeling and Visualization (GMV) is an interdisciplinary research group. The team brings together scientists from the fields of mathematics, civil engineering and architecture.

A Short History of GMV
The GMV exists at the TU Dresden since the approval of the first DFG research project 2011. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daniel Lordick, however, has been involved since 2001 in the training of architecture students in Performing Geometry and CAD. In 2004, he set up a 3-D laboratory at the Institute of Geometry.
The team of scientists strive beyond the actual projects for a doctorate in their field of expertise, where they are supported as much as possible.
