Knowledge transfer as a mission
Results of our research group GMV are not only published in papers and presented at conferences. There are also exhibits from current projects and from our collection of mathematical models on display at several exhibitions and museums. As an indicator of our vital knowledge transfer, we consider our large number of partners.
Knowledge transfer as a mission
To establish certain topics, we initiate events like workshops, conferences and summer schools. This is also valuable to connect researchers from different communities. The research topics of GMV are often interdisciplinary. This makes a vibrant communication across the borders of faculties an essential part of our efforts.
Another objective of GMV is, to open research topics to the public. This works best during exhibitions. For this reason we are always eager to participate in such events. The visitors are typically attracted by the pure esthetics of our objects. But, this is frequently an opener for a deeper understanding of the background.
