GENERAL INFORMATION

My research deals with discrete optimization problems in the area of cutting and packing. Thereby, I am mainly focussing on models, properties, and algorithms of allocation problems, especially with respect to the skiving stock problem. A sound basis for the scientific investigation of these topics can be found in my written theses:
