Willkommen
The focus of the Chair of Mathematical Optimization is on the development of optimality conditions and solution algorithms for optimization problems with disjunctive constraint, e.g. complementarity constraints, and for hierarchical games. This also includes the application of these results for example to optimize truss structures or booking decisions in the gas market.
The chair offers lectures on different topics in optimization as well as mathematics for students of other faculties.
