The Institute offers the following modules for the Bachelor's degree programs in Mathematics and in Mathematics in Business and Economics. Please note that the modules are taught in German.

• Module Math-Ba-NM10 - Numerical Mathematics - Basic Methods
  2nd academic year, winter semester, 4 hours per week

• Module Math-Ba-NM20 - Numerical Mathematics - Iteration Methods
  2nd academic year, summer semester, 4 hours per week

• Module Math-Ba-OP10 - Optimization - Basic Concepts
  3rd academic year, winter semester, 4 hours per week

• Module Math-Ba-OP20 - Optimization - Advanced Concepts -
  3rd academic year, summer semester, 4 hours per week

• Module Math-Ba-NM30 - Numerical Mathematics - Advanced Methods
  3rd academic year, summer semester, 4 hours per week

• Modules Math-Ba-WL10/WL20 - Seminars
  2nd academic year, summer semester / 3rd academic year, winter semester, 2 hours per week each

• Bachelor's thesis - including topics from the following areas

  • Numerical methods for ordinary differential equations,
  • continuous and discrete optimization,
  • optimal control,
  • applications
