Scientific Writing

General information

The course Scientific Writing in Physics (in English) has been designed since I thought that instruction in this area with a focus on physics would be useful. I have taught this course in the winter semester 2010/11 as a two-hour special-topic lecture, which was also integrated into the IMPRS "Dynamical Processes in Atoms, Molecules and Solids". My experience and the feedback given by students have been mostly positive. It is not necessarily my idea to teach this course myself in regular intervals but to make the course materials (PowerPoint slides and a few other documents) available to members of the physics department who plan to give this, or a similar, course.
