Summary of Lecture: | The lecture will cover the latest methods and results from the Large Hadron Collider. Topics will include precision Standard Model measurements to searches for new resonances. Special emphasis in the lecture is placed on statistical and experimental methods that are used frequently in particle physics. The tutorial is tailored so that you learn to apply these methods directly to real data from the ATLAS experiment. In this course, you will get to design your own analysis, test it using simulated data and then search for new physics in real data. | ||||||
