Research focus
At the Chair of Biopsychology, we investigate how the brain dynamically structures information in memory, learning, and decision making to enable adaptive behavior. The group uses neuroscientific techniques such as electroencephalography (EEG), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and eye-tracking, in combination with multivariate analysis methods and computational modeling. Our research is supported by a Consolidator Grant from the European Research Council (ERC), by the Heisenberg Programme of the German Research Foundation (DFG), as well as by graduate programs of the Max Planck Society and of the Einstein Center of Neuroscience Berlin.
