DFG funds scientific network CORE
The German Research Foundation (DFG) funds the scientific network CORE (Collaborative Open and Reproducible Research on Emotion Regulation)
CORE brings together researchers and clinicians from a range of disciplines and career stages to advance open, collaborative, and reproducible research on emotion regulation. A key aim of the network is to strengthen methodological standards and improve the reproducibility of empirical findings. In doing so, it seeks to deepen the understanding of the psychological, physiological, and neural mechanisms underlying emotion regulation, as well as its relevance for mental health and psychiatric disorders.
As a Germany-based and internationally connected initiative, CORE promotes interdisciplinary exchange and provides a foundation for long-term collaboration in this research field. The network is coordinated by Dr. Anne Gärtner and Dr. Valerie Jentsch.
